Hello, it is very very nice to meet you! my name is Ellen
I was raised in Northern Ireland.
l’ve been teaching business English in Asia for more than 8 years, so my accent has been Americanized.

I like to combine business and conversational English in my classes, I like to keep my classes fun and dynamic.
My goal is to create a safe space for you to make mistakes. And help you develop confidence in speaking English.

About the lesson

*My business English handouts provides a systematic learning experience.

*As far as my conversation classes go, they are very laid back and fun. I like to find interesting global news or crime stories to discuss. Thought provoking conversations are welcomed in my class. A deep dive into topics such as : Cultural Shock/Crime Stories/Global News/Traveling is always fun. I’m traveling at the moment so we can talk about traveling and life.

*I like to combine business and conversational English in my classes, I like to keep my classes fun and dynamic.
My goal is to create a safe space for you to make mistakes. And help you develop confidence in speaking English.

*My business English classes include learning adjective connotations, before using an adjective or noun, we first need to know the positive and negative connotations. In business, we need to be careful when using our words. We will also learn Idioms and common phrases in business meetings; email writing; negotiation dos and don’ts; Tactful language; FORD method techniques and small talk tips.
