I would say Yuqi might just be the best Chinese tutor you would find online - out of my personal experience. Before meeting him I have been learning Mandarin for a few years, I wouldn't say without any progress but I just felt there were so many difficulties since I am not the best at picking up new language! But Yuqi changed this perspective once and for all. He has great attention to details and bits by bits he has helped me to turn a lot of bad habits in both pronunciation and reading into good ones. Now I feel like I am learning with joy all the time when having his lessons, and I think he has reminded me that this was why I started at the very beginning :) I would definitely strongly recommend Yuqi's lesson!

I have known Yuqi for years now and he is definitely the most patient, energetic and charismatic teacher I've ever met. Unlike other teachers who are just focused on a set syllabus (and mostly repeating what the textbook says) to get you prepped for the exam, Yuqi tailor his lessons based on the student's interest and combines the key learning points with real-life scenarios and examples to make the lesson super interesting and engaged, even for the dullest grammar lessons!!
