About Thi Hang
I am Vietnamese and have been practicing Theravada meditation for many years, following the original teachings of Gotama Buddha and the Pa-Auk (Myanmar) tradition. Meditation has helped me cultivate calmness, stability, and clarity in my own life, especially during difficult periods.
I am not teaching theory for debate, but practical meditation for real life. As someone who balances family, work, and responsibilities, I understand how busy and stressful modern life can be. My wish is to share a simple and authentic path that truly helps people find inner peace and mental strength.
I value sincerity, quiet practice, and steady progress. My approach is gentle, grounded, and focused on real experience rather than complicated philosophy.

My meditation lessons follow the Theravada tradition of Gotama Buddha, especially the Pa-Auk (Myanmar) samatha–vipassana approach. I teach at a basic level, suitable for beginners or anyone feeling stressed, confused, or lost in busy life.
Meditation is simple, but learning with the right guidance is very important. Without proper direction, practice can become unclear or unbalanced. I have practiced for many years and have experienced positive changes in my own life and family. I wish to share this stable and practical path with others.
Each session is structured but gentle. In the first 10–15 minutes, I explain the key steps and prepare the mind. Then we sit and meditate together in silence. The final 15 minutes are for questions, sharing experiences, and clarifying difficulties.
My teaching philosophy is simple: quiet space, relaxed mind, and more practice than talking. The goal is to help you develop calm (samadhi), mental stability, and practical inner protection for daily challenges.

Details
My standard rate is $60 per hour for a private session.
Each session is carefully structured to support real practice, not just discussion. We begin with 10–15 minutes of clear guidance to prepare the mind and explain the meditation steps. Then we sit together in silent practice. The final 15 minutes are for questions, reflection, and clarification of any difficulties that arise.
Meditation is simple, but proper guidance and a stable environment are important for steady progress. The rate reflects personal attention, authentic Theravada (Pa-Auk) approach, and a quiet, supportive space for practice.
For serious students who wish to practice regularly, weekly sessions are recommended. Online sessions are available if needed.
