About Alec
I'm a professional tutor and University graduate. Both my Bachelor of Arts and my Graduate Certificate were assessed mostly on essay writing assignments and exams. In addition to those writing-focused subjects, I studied Italian & Latin. Before studying humanities and languages at University, I taught myself Italian while living in Italy. This was a wonderful experience for me. I tried many methods for learning and quickly learnt which methods are efficient and which are not. Some methods allowed me to learn quickly with very little pain, while other methods were both painful and slow. Afterwards, I began tutoring English as a second language. I have also tutored native speakers to improve their skills further, especially their writing skills. I love tutoring. I hope you'll enjoy our lessons and be satisfied with how much you learn.

You can choose speaking or essay writing and you can choose whether or not to prepare something for the lesson, and whether you want homework tasks or not. Either way, I will quickly identify your weaknesses and hone your abilities. My teaching style will make things easy for you but it is nonetheless powerful.
