About Atihya

I am an Aalimah who worked in a madressa with children of all ages for 2 years , I’m a qualified English TEFL educator. I’ve worked as a nursery educator also , I have taught my own private classes to adults and children of all ages and I’ve been working and involved in the teaching field for about 4/5 years now

About the lesson

I believe that there are 7 effective teaching methodologies 3 of which I use almost all the time . The first being

Visualization - bring dull academic concepts to life with visual and practical learning experiences, helping your students to understand how their schooling applies in the real-world.

Cooperative learning - Encourage students of mixed abilities to work together by promoting small group or whole class activities. Through verbally expressing their ideas and responding to others your students will develop their self-confidence, as well as enhance their communication and critical thinking skills which are vital throughout life.

Differentiation - Differentiate your teaching by allocating tasks based on students’ abilities, to ensure no one gets left behind .
