About Rebecca

With 19 years teaching and 3 years tutoring experience I can offer expertly planned and taught sessions. I am a friendly and approachable tutor who works hard to ensure all pupils reach their potential and unlocks any barriers to learning.

About the lesson

I offer expert preparation lessons for the 11+ to pupils in Yr4-6. All lessons are expertly planned and resourced aligned with the 11+ exam to provide students with the necessary tools to excel. I deliver bespoke lessons to suit the individual child still following a tailored plan to cover all topic areas. My delivery is typical of a qualified teacher that offers highly expert structured and well-paced lessons but with a friendly and approachable manner. Each lesson will be 1-2 hours, depending on parents' requirement and will start with a progress check from the previous lesson as well as weekly tasks, such as definitions and spelling that must be done weekly. Then we will move on to short tasks including reasoning/non-verbal reasoning etc. Finishing with a plenary to check learning and some homework tasks, if the child and parent require.
