About Pooja

I am a qualified teacher with knowledge and expertise in delivering content to students as well as creating schemes of work, lesson plans, resources and activities relevant to the curriculum. Moreover, I am known to be very passionate in my job and students cherish me for caring for them and explaining complex content in a more simple and structured manner.

I have been teaching for more than 4 years now. Subjects I have taught include:
- AAT (both vocational and apprenticeship standards)
- BTEC - Finance
- A level Business Studies (AQA)
- Financial Studies Certificate and Diploma (LIBF)

Teaching environment ranging from 5 to 25 students per class.
- College classroom
- Remote teaching

Achievements:
95% pass rates in AAT
95% distinctions in EPA AAT apprenticeships
100 % pass rates in BTEC finance unit
80% grades A-C achieved for A level Business students

About the lesson

Teach a topic followed by questions and activities. Teaching step by step and little chunks at a time. I create my own PowerPoint.

For 1-1 students will have to let me know the topics they are struggling with before hand so that I can prepare the material for them.
