About Trishna
I am an outstanding qualified teacher with a Law Degree. I have worked in education for 16 years and have experience teaching History, Citizenship, Law, RE, Politics, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.
I have extensive experience of working with young people of all different backgrounds and abilities, and consistently get my students excellent grades.
I have also got a wealth of experience in leadership positions in schools, including managing Careers departments. This means that I can also offer support with university and job applications, CV-writing, interview skills and careers guidance/advice.
I am committed to supporting you in your schooling, and to excel in your examinations.
Note: I can also support undergraduate Law students too.

My teaching practice involves creativity, engagement and enquiry. I give students opportunities to think critically and question key concepts. I make sure students know why the topic is relevant to them, making lessons current and using real-life examples. I think engagement is crucial, and I do so through encouraging debates, discussions and learning in different contexts e.g. through trips, artefacts and props.
I take a student-centres approach where lessons are tailored to suit the needs of the students. I am excellent at ensuring that lessons are designed to support students with exams - through teaching students about structuring arguments and extended answers, understanding specifications, assessment objectives and mark distributions, and through tried and tested revision techniques/habits.
