About Ann Marie
I am a qualified Physical Education teacher and sports coach based in Malta, with a strong passion for helping individuals stay active, build confidence and reach their full potential. With over seven years of experience working with children, teenagers and adults, I create engaging and supportive sessions tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sport, Exercise and Health and a Master’s degree in Education, specialising in Physical Education. Alongside sport, I also support learning in English and Maltese, including reading and communication skills, ensuring a well-rounded and inclusive approach.
My aim is to make every session enjoyable, motivating and effective, whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your performance.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, creating a supportive and motivating environment where learners can progress at their own pace. I adapt my teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles, combining practical activities with clear explanations. In both Physical Education and language support, I focus on building confidence, developing core skills and encouraging long-term engagement.
I use a structured yet flexible methodology. Sessions typically include a warm-up or introduction, followed by skill development or focused practice, and end with feedback and reflection. For English and Maltese, I support reading, comprehension and communication skills through guided reading, discussion and interactive exercises. Lessons usually last 45–60 minutes, depending on the learner’s needs.
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sport, Exercise and Health and a Master of Education in Physical Education, with over seven years of experience working with individuals aged 3 to 60+. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults of all levels, whether they aim to improve fitness, develop sports skills or strengthen their reading and language abilities in English and Maltese.
