Teaching has always been more than just a career for me, it’s a genuine passion. I enjoy helping students grow in confidence, develop their knowledge, and achieve results they may not have thought possible. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student overcome challenges and realise their potential.

As a qualified teacher, Head of Department, and AQA examiner, I bring a wealth of classroom experience and expert insight into how exams are marked and what examiners are looking for. This enables me to provide students with targeted strategies that improve both their confidence and their exam performance.

I have worked with students of all abilities and understand that every learner is different. I tailor my teaching to suit each individual’s needs, ensuring lessons are engaging, supportive, and appropriately challenging.

I became a teacher because I believe education has the power to transform lives. My aim is not only to help students achieve outstanding grades but also to develop their confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills. I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher, currently working as a Head of Department, with extensive expertise in helping students achieve their full potential. As an AQA examiner, I have a deep understanding of assessment criteria and what examiners are looking for, allowing me to provide targeted guidance that improves both confidence and performance.

My teaching style is firm but fair. I set high expectations while creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel challenged, motivated, and capable of success. I believe that every student can excel with the right approach, and I go above and beyond to ensure each lesson is tailored to their individual needs and learning style.

My lessons are carefully structured to maximise progress. We begin by identifying strengths and areas for development before working through clear learning objectives. Lessons include explicit teaching, guided practice, and opportunities for independent application, with regular retrieval practice to strengthen long-term memory. I use continuous assessment and personalised feedback throughout to ensure students make consistent progress and leave each lesson with a clear understanding of what they have learnt and what to focus on next.

I discovered Aisha whilst trying to secure the right type of tutoring for my son. Once Aisha started working with him he completely flourished at school, having found Year 9 difficult for the first few months. Fast forward to his end of year exams last month where his English and Maths grades had jumped by three levels. I cannot recommend Aisha enough.
