About Laurynne

Hi, I’m Laur! I’ve spent years working with primary-age children as a teaching assistant and behavioural mentor, and I’ve also worked as a leader at a summer camp in Colorado, so I know how to make learning feel more like an adventure than a chore.

I believe every child can get there with the right support, and the first step is often helping them feel good about trying. I’m patient and encouraging, and love to turn learning into fun through games and songs. I’ve got a Master’s in Social Work, so I understand what’s going on behind the frustration as well as what’s on the worksheet.

When a child walks away saying “that was actually fun”, I know I’ve done my job. I’d love to meet you and your child.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Laur. I have a Master’s in Social Work and several years of experience as a Teaching Assistant and Behavioural Mentor in primary schools in London and Leeds. I’m also TEFL-qualified.

I work with children who find school hard as well as those who just need a boost. I’m used to supporting pupils who struggle with focus, confidence or behaviour, so I can adapt to how your child learns, and I keep sessions calm, structured and encouraging.
