About Freya
For 12 years, I have been helping students discover the joy of singing and develop their musical abilities. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who want to improve their vocal skills, prepare for performances, or strengthen their understanding of music.
My teaching philosophy is built on patience, encouragement, and continuous growth. I believe every student can improve with proper guidance and regular practice. Therefore, I design lessons that are personalised, structured, and focused on achieving measurable results.
Students in my classes learn important skills such as breath management, pitch control, rhythm, vocal projection, articulation, and stage presence. I use practical exercises, song practice, and performance activities to help students apply their learning effectively. Constructive feedback helps students stay motivated and focused on their goals.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Performance Skills. These complementary subjects help students become more knowledgeable musicians and confident performers. I encourage students to develop discipline and creativity as part of their musical journey.
One of my unique strengths is creating a comfortable learning atmosphere where students feel confident exploring their abilities. My aim is to inspire learners to enjoy music while building the skills necessary for long-term success and personal fulfilment.

My teaching methodology for Singing is designed to help students achieve excellence through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and efficient time management. I believe successful singing instruction should develop both technical skills and personal confidence.
Each student's journey begins with a detailed assessment of their strengths, challenges, and musical goals. Based on this understanding, I create a customised learning plan that supports their growth and development.
Creativity plays a significant role in my lessons. I use engaging exercises, song interpretation activities, listening tasks, and performance opportunities to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Students learn essential singing skills including breath support, pitch accuracy, vocal control, tone production, articulation, rhythm, and stage performance. These skills are reinforced through practical application and consistent feedback.
Understanding and encouragement help create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to improve. I focus on building confidence while helping students overcome obstacles and develop resilience.
Time management ensures that lessons remain organised and goal-oriented. Every session includes vocal warm-ups, technical exercises, song work, and performance preparation to maximise progress.
Besides Singing, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Health, and Music Fundamentals. My goal is to help students become confident performers, skilled musicians, and lifelong learners who enjoy expressing themselves through music.
