About Darryl
I am a qualified naturopath, herbalist, nutritionist, homoeopath with additional training in iridology and flower essence therapy. I have been in practice for 11 years and have been lecturing at a private college for just over four years.
I have taught hundreds of students both face to face and online in all of the above subjects.
My focus is to always try and simplify each topic and concept to make it easier to understand to remember.

My goal is to always help students to understand the core principles, and then the practices, of each subject. After all, without understanding the core of each subject how are you going to apply it or add on in future? I have done my job well when I know that each student can happily say that they feel confident in their understanding of these core principles and also being able to convey them to other people.
One of the core principles in Naturopathic practice is based on the following latin word, 'docere', which translates as 'doctor as teacher'. It is, therefore, a key skill for a student to be able to convey their knowledge to others.
