About Kavi
Hello! My name is Kavi and I am a qualified lawyer who trained and worked at an international law firm in London. I studied Law at the University of Nottingham after taking English Literature, Biology and Maths for my A-levels. Prior to that I achieved 9A*s and 2As at GCSE level. I am a friendly and engaging tutor who believes that everyone learns differently and that there is a technique to drafting CVs, personal statements and training contract applications. I have helped students and aspiring lawyers secure places at some of the top universities and law firms in the country. Whether you would like a one-off review and edit of your CV/application or tailored sessions to help draft and refine your materials, please get in touch - sessions are tailored to your objectives. I offer the following services: - University application/personal statement writing/advice (£50/hr) - CV writing/advice (£50/hr) - Training Contract application writing/advice (£60/hr) - Career support/advice (£45/hr) My approach to lessons will be tailored to your individual goals and learning style. In our first session, we will discuss your objectives and agree on a structure for future lessons. Lessons will typically be one hour. For writing mark-ups and redrafts, I request that existing drafts and materials are sent to me two days in advance of lessons so that I have time to review and make edits ahead of our session.
