About Leanne

I studied for 7 years after school and have proudly achieved two degrees: BA in Psychology & Communications as well as a B-Ed in Math & Science.

I spent my first two years after university teaching at a private school for children with learning challenges and disabilities. Thereafter I filled the position as a Grade 6 teacher at a public school. During my time here I became the Grade Head of Grade 6 for 3 years and the Head of English for 7 years.

I am a reliable, passionate and creative educator who will go the extra mile for my learners.

About the lesson

Learning happens at your own pace, so I approach all of my lessons with this in mind - I meet learners where they are. My number one goal is to help learners to gently grow confidence in and an enjoyment for Math. During my lessons I use relatability and a calm approach to make learners feel comfortable and at ease. I offer both one-on-one and small group classes and the medium of instruction in which I teach is primarily English.

I offer a discounted price of R 150 (30 minutes free of charge) for your child's first session with me.

I also offer termly packages. Currently I offer packages of 11 sessions (1 hour per week) or 22 sessions (2 hours per week).

The rates for these are as follows:
10 sessions + 1 session free of charge - R 3000
21 sessions + 1 session free of charge - R 5100
