The creativity and independence that teaching offers is what attracts me to teaching and to be able to truly make a difference by adapting my teaching to the different individual needs of learners so they can develop and grow. Afrikaans is my home language, however I have completed my Fdegree in English making me fluent and able to teach in either or both languages.
My first priority as a teacher is the holistic development of the student I am teaching.
I prefer to teach face to face rather than online as that makes good quality hands-on teaching and learning possible as well as the process of building a professional relationship between teacher and student.
The lessons that I plan to teach to my students will each be adapted to cater for their individual needs.
My focus is set on Foundation Phase students
