About Sylvia
I have been a professional English teacher/lecturer in colleges, universities, and schools. I have taught up to matric level, and up to N5 at FET college level. I have a college teaching diploma as well as several subjects towards a B.A. degree, with English and Psychology as majors. I have been a marker for Business English in the FET qualifications arena, as well as a moderator for various learnerships. I currently teach privately as well as at a learning center.

I am very invested in facilitating the teaching of English and have a keen interest in each individual persons learning journey and desired outcomes. I am able to find the students current level and work from there, be it formal grammar, conversational English or school literature, I teach from intermediate level through high school to Adults. A typical lesson will cover oral and written sections.
