About Me – Tom, Your ESL Teacher Hi there! I’m Tom — a CELTA-certified ESL teacher with over 9 years of experience helping students improve their English with confidence, clarity, and real-world skills. I grew up in England and moved to Australia when I was 17. At 22, I went backpacking around New Zealand ️️, and then spent three amazing years teaching English in Japan . These adventures taught me so much about language, culture, and what it’s like to live and learn abroad. ️ I teach learners from A1 to C1 levels and create lessons that are practical, engaging, and tailored just for you ️ Whether you want to improve your speaking, writing, listening or pronunciation, I’ll help you build real-world skills with confidence In my free time, I love traveling, working out ️, studying, and exploring history ️ — and I enjoy bringing these interests into the classroom to keep lessons fun and relatable
