About Gladys
Hello! I’m an English Tutor from South Africa with a BA in Criminology and a TEFL Certificate. I’m passionate about teaching because I love helping learners grow in confidence and communication.
As a former School Safety Promoter, I taught students from Pre-School to Grade 12 in English about important life topics. This experience showed me how powerful language is for expressing ideas and staying safe.
I’m patient, encouraging, and I enjoy making lessons fun and practical so every student feels supported while learning English.

My lessons are fun, practical, and tailored to your goals. As a BA Criminology graduate and TEFL Certified tutor with experience as a School Safety Promoter, I teach English to learners from Pre-School to Grade 12.
For kids: we use games, stories, songs and role-play to build vocabulary and confidence.
For teens and adults: we focus on conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing and real-life communication.
I teach in clear English, create a safe and encouraging space, and adapt each lesson to your level and interests.
