About Thamie
I am Ms Magula. A qualified South African educator with 5 years experience of teaching isiXhosa HL. I am a young and fresh teacher that is in the field with the hope of making sure school children reach their full potential.

What makes my isiXhosa lessons unique is that I teach the language as a living identity, not just a subject.
I blend the CAPS curriculum with our rich oral tradition — iintsomi, amaqhalo, izaga, ingoma kunye nemidlalo — so learners feel pride in their language while mastering reading, writing and comprehension.
My lessons are learner-centred and differentiated: the struggling reader is supported with visuals and scaffolding, the confident speaker is challenged to create and lead. Every child speaks, reads and participates.
I make isiXhosa relatable, interactive and joyful. Learners don't just learn _about_ isiXhosa, they live it, love it, and use it with confidence inside and outside
