About Jetty
My name is Jetty from South Africa. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Economic majoring in Finance Management and a TESOL/TEFL teaching certificate. When the opportunity presented itself in 2020, I decided to follow my passion of imparting knowledge by embracing teaching the young minds. Therefore, I have been teaching in class and online for the past six years. When teaching I feel a sense of purpose because of empowering the future generations. I enjoy the experience and it also expands my mind.

My Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Teaching certificate makes it possible to pursue my passion for teaching after years in the corporate industry. I have taught Mathematics and Natural Science and Technology to Grade three to five learners for the past six years, using the English language. My lessons include CAPS and Cambridge curriculum depending on learner preference and level. For the CAPS curriculum I follow their ATP (Annual teaching plan).
To make the lessons interesting, I use physical objects, videos and interactive games. Examples include practical situations.
Lessons begin with recaps of previous lessons to ensure learners understand before moving on. This may include but not limited to memory challenges and role play. The learning environment is friendly and comfortable where learners can express themselves without being judged.
