About Gert
I am Gert Geyser, a qualified male educator (retired - 57).
I believe in absolute professionalism and assisted many grade 12 students to pass the subject that I've taught during the years that I've taught.
During the years of education as an FET educator (Afrikaans FAL) all my students passed the subject.
My qualifications: Higher Education Diploma (4 years - NKP teacher's college and BA degree 3 years -UNISA)
I was involved in marking of National Senior Certificate Exams (Afrikaans FAL Senior Marker as well as Deputy Chief Marker)
I've retired due to health reasons (cancer). During the last 10 years of my career as Senior Education Specialist for Languages FET phase, my job description was mainly to guide and support educators in Languages (FET phase).

About the lesson

Methodology: One on one explanations for each Language genre.
(If Afrikaans FAL, explanations will also be in English)
My lessons consist of power point presentations e.g. when Poetry is explained, it will consist of the poem with step-by -step analysis.
Preparation to answer question papers (For Languages - Paper 1, 2 and 3). Hints for answering question papers.
Languages : Afrikaans FAL (Snr or FET phases depending on needs.)
What students can expect from a typical lesson: PowerPoint presentation as well as activities and assessment after each lesson. Preparation to write exams.
Lessons are aimed for FET learners (Grade10-12)
