About Leon
Many think its impossible to learn programming if you didnt start at a really young age. That is not true. After two years of targeted learning, I got offered a place at the #1 computer science course in the UK, and am now working in Finance in the City of London.
I am currently working with datasets with billions of rows, efficiently analysing them, and displaying them for clients and other departments in my firm. I would like to help you achieve the same.

While learning programming itself is simple, its important not to get lost when entering, or advancing in this dense field. My expertise is around Data Analysis using Python and SQL, but I am capable of teaching other languages and modules including front-end.
What you will receive from me is targeted learning of functional skills that you will need to pursue your goals, and help you write efficient and clean code, which your teachers, bosses, and future interviewers will be impressed by.
As a disclaimer, I dont teach the A Level computer science syllabus. The course is simply TOO theoretical and doesn't focus on the important aspects of programming, such as reliability, scale, and the art of programming itself. In my opinion, getting your hands dirty is the best way to learn!

Leon taught me maths for both GCSE and A Level. Without his diligent tutoring, I would not have received great results in either of them. A hard worker and a fantastic teacher!
Leon is a kind and understanding teacher who helped me through both my A levels and STEP with his kind and patient support. Though at times I struggled to make connections that were critical to understanding certain questions, Leon always calmly explained them to me until I understood.
