About Laurin

I am already studying industrial engineering in Dresden in the 6th semester.

In addition to my studies, I regularly take courses from universities (e.g. MIT, Stanford) and companies (e.g. Google, IBM) to expand my knowledge in the field of computer science.

Even before my studies, I began to be interested in programming languages (especially Python).

I was able to develop my skills apply through multiple internships and working student skills. I also take part in coding competitions (e.g. at Kaggle), which I always have a lot of fun with.

About the lesson

I will teach you the Python programming language as much as possible using programming exercises and practice-oriented applications.

If you already have problems for which you need solutions, we will work them out together. It is particularly important to me that you really understand the concepts and the code yourself and that I don't just "pre-code" everything for you.

My main areas of expertise are topics such as data science or machine learning.

Before and during my engineering studies I have been working with Python for a number of years and have been able to apply my knowledge in several working student positions

I have always found this very simple and at the same time powerful programming language a lot of fun, and I hope that I can transfer this enthusiasm to you as well. In my opinion, the key to real learning success is always an interest in the subject.

Perfect! Ich kann Laurin als sehr kompetenten und geduldigen Lehrer weiter empfehlen! Selbst bei schwierigen Fragen hat er die Antwort immer gleich parat. Auch Schüler ohne Vorkenntnisse können seinen Erklärungen gut folgen, ich spreche aus Erfahrung :)
