About Ali
I'm Ali. I help beginners and engineering students learn Python, C++ and MATLAB, understand errors and build code they can explain. My academic background is in Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Space Technology in Pakistan, including programming, numerical analysis, artificial intelligence and control systems. That gives my lessons a practical focus on logic, calculations and interpreting results. We break a problem into small steps, trace what the code does and test changes together. I explain a manageable example, then give you room to try the next step with guidance. You can ask basic questions, bring unfinished code or start from scratch. I teach in English online from Pakistan, with lessons available to students in New York and across the United States.

A Python error, a C++ assignment or an unexpected MATLAB result can be a useful starting point. Share your code or describe what you want to build. We work out what is happening, why, and how you can test the next change. Lessons suit beginners, adult learners, college and university students, plus selected high-school programming topics.
Python: variables, conditions, loops, functions, lists, dictionaries, files and introductory classes. For scientific computing and data analysis, we can use NumPy, pandas and Matplotlib to load data, calculate results and create clear plots.
C++: program structure, data types, input/output, conditions, loops, functions, arrays, vectors and strings. Selected object-oriented programming and introductory algorithms include classes, searching, sorting and recursion. We distinguish compiler errors from logic errors and use small test cases.
MATLAB and numerical methods: vectors, matrices, indexing, scripts, functions, plotting, debugging, linear systems, root-finding and numerical integration. Selected Simulink tasks connect code and calculations to dynamic-system models.
Introductory AI and machine learning: data preparation, regression, classification, training and test sets, overfitting and model evaluation. Send your syllabus first so I can confirm the methods and tools.
Lessons use screen sharing and live coding. I explain the logic, you try a related step, and we review the result. For coursework or projects, I help you plan, debug and understand your own solution. Exam preparation can include code tracing, short programming questions and timed practice.
Your first lesson focuses on one manageable task and a clear next practice step. Tell me your language, topic, current level and any deadline; include an error message if you have one. Share preferred times in New York time (Eastern Time). Related computing modules are welcome once we agree the scope.
Recommendations
Recommendations are written by the tutor's friends, family, and acquaintances.
I’m the sort of person who asks a question, gets an answer, and immediately comes up with three more questions. Ali was happy to discuss those, but he also knew when to bring us back to the problem we were supposed to be solving.
There was one point where I’d confidently used an equation without really knowing why it belonged there. Instead of just crossing it out, he asked me to explain my choice. Halfway through my explanation, I realised the problem myself. Slightly humbling, admittedly, but I remembered it afterwards.I never felt embarrassed about asking him to explain something again. That made more difference to me than I expected.
A technically useful explanation should make its assumptions visible. Ali was careful about this. When we discussed a method, he explained the conditions under which it applied and how we could check the result. I also found him receptive to questions about alternative approaches. His manner is approachable, but the discussion remains focused on the work.
Ali explains things properly. He doesn’t assume that because you followed the example, you can now solve every question yourself. We went back over the part where I was getting stuck, and I had a chance to try again. That was what I needed.
I know Ali as the person who helped me go from being stuck in coding basics to writing working programs confidently. His style is very hands on, he makes you write code, debug it properly, and understand logic, not just copy solutions. We covered computer programming with Python and C++, plus HTML basics and MATLAB for engineering style problem solving, and he always kept the sessions clear and goal focused. I recommend Ali because he is reliable, patient, and very professional, and his programming methodology makes online lessons feel organized and productive.
I know Ali through our engineering and aerospace study circle, and I have seen his teaching methodology up close. He explains aeronautics and mechanical engineering with a structured, step by step approach, then connects it to real applications like flight dynamics, control systems, and automatic systems, so it actually makes sense instead of feeling like theory. He is consistent, punctual, and serious about student progress, he keeps sessions interactive, checks understanding, and fixes weak points fast. I recommend Ali on Superprof because he is genuinely trustworthy, technically strong, and he teaches engineering in a practical way that helps students perform.
