About Priya

Programming gets much easier once someone shows you how to think through a problem, not just the syntax. I’m a computer science student at UC San Diego, and I spend my time on real systems: I lead multicore development for the HiAER-Spike simulator in a neuroengineering lab, and I’ve worked on production code in Python, C/C++, and PyTorch. Before university, I worked on AI automation and voice AI projects for real clients, so I know how the skills you learn in class show up in actual software.

I also teach. I co-founded IrvineSTEMPower4Girls, where I run STEM sessions for about 30 students at a time, and I’ve taught learners aged 5 to 16. That experience taught me to figure out where a student is stuck before I explain anything. We’ll start with questions, work through the concept step by step, and practice until you can write the solution yourself
