About Anagha
I am a true Rasika of Indian artforms. I enjoy the essence and aesthetics of Dance forms from across the country and believe in preserving them.
I am a disciple of the most reputed Kathakali and Bharatnatyam maestro Guru Kalamandalam T Shankaranarayanan and Bharatnatyam legend Kalamandalam Thankamanikutty.
I am an alumni of Vishwa Bharathi University established by the ever influential Rabindranath Tagore.
I am trained in dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam, Bollywood semi classical, Rabindra Nritya, Nazrul Nritya, Haryanvi etc. I am also a student of University of Delhi and researching on the various intricacies of Indian arts.
Over the years, I have done several stage shows, as well asperformed and won at several national and international competitions. I spread the knowledge of my Gurus and work in making dance accessible to everyone regardless of their age, gender, or other differences .

I provide holistic insight into a choreography o dance form which includes both theoretical understanding and practical execution.
I provide notes, comments, doubt clearing sessions, special choreographies on requests, assistance in researching etc.
I focus on expressions (Abhinaya) unlike most teachers who choose mechanical portrayal of pieces which is both incorrect and destructive for a dancer.
My classes are for anyone and everyone who has an interest in Dance. Therefore it is all ages, young, old, I cater to your demands.
