About Nicole

I have been teaching for over 12 years and have worked as a public speaking coach in the University of London, for a number of leading scientists, lawyers, politicians and in the NHS. I have several years experience delivering communication skills training to health and social care staff and to the professionals in the City of London.

I formerly worked as an English as a Foreign Language teacher in several different countries and am able to quickly improve English pronunciation and smooth out accents!

I am passionate about inspiring my clients to feel confident sharing their knowledge , opinions and insight in front of different audiences, at work and generally in life (podcasts/ conferences). I draw on the Patsy Rodenberg "3 circles of presence" approach to voice training.

I have trained at the following establishments in the following techniques:

1 year Acting course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama
Degree in Theatre Arts - University of Marseille
CELTA Teaching English as a Foreign Language - British Council
Train the Trainer Certification
Natural Voice training with Chloe Goodchild

''It has been a tremendous journey to reach the ultimate taste of success. It all happened credit to Nicole Tattersall. I attended a higher surgical training interview 3 times without any luck. I realised that my main weakness is the delivery of knowledge rather than the scientific basis behind it. The turning point was the day I called Nicole asking for confidence speech coaching.

She has been exceptional on so many levels. The specific tasks she planned were tailored for my weaknesses and gradually targeted each part of my speech. Her ability and insight was amazing in detecting the subtle difficulties in my communication style. The practice we had showed immense difference in my speech delivery within 1 month. My colleagues noticed it and were very impressed with how I evolved in such a short time. About the lesson

We will begin by exploring and establishing your personal goals for your voice, whether that is transforming the sound of your voice, feeling more at ease speaking in certain situations, practicing a presentation or pitch, general communication skills to apply in a specific professional context, creative vocal development and enhanced self-expression ...etc.

After establishing your goals I will then create a tailored programme of exercises we will cover together together in the sessions to help you reach your goals. These could be vocal projection exercises, practicing clearer articulation using selected texts, developing your presentation, honing your message for meetings...depending on your goals. We will then have fun together exploring the exercises in the sessions, usually on a weekly basis. For more rapid results, you may also decide to progress with the exercises during the week and send me voice notes so I can support you in your vocal development journey.
