About Fadekemi
I am a public speaking and communication coach with a strong academic and professional background, holding a Juris Doctor (JD), a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of Rochester. I have extensive experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring students and professionals in presentation skills and effective communication.
I previously taught an online course titled The Art of Public Speaking, where I helped learners build confidence, structure their ideas, and deliver engaging presentations. I have also been an active member of Toastmasters for several years, where I earned awards for public speaking and leadership, and I served as President of public speaking clubs during business school.
My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and results-driven. I focus on helping students overcome fear, develop clarity in speech, and build strong presentation habits through guided practice, real-time feedback, and repetition.
I work with beginners who are overcoming public speaking anxiety, as well as professionals, students, and leaders preparing for presentations, interviews, meetings, and speeches. My goal is to create a safe and encouraging learning environment where every student can grow into a confident and effective communicator.

My teaching approach is highly practical, supportive, and confidence-focused! I combine structured public speaking techniques with real-time coaching to help students improve quickly and feel more comfortable speaking in any setting. I draw from my experience in Toastmasters, my background teaching The Art of Public Speaking, and my own journey of overcoming a severe fear of public speaking.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up exercise to reduce anxiety, followed by a focused skill area such as speech structure, storytelling, vocal delivery, body language, or presentation strategy. Students then practice speaking in real time, receive clear and constructive feedback, and repeat the exercise with improvements to build confidence and mastery!
