About Yasmin
Hi! I’m Yasmin, a Psychology student at the University of Bath, currently completing a clinical placement alongside my degree. I’ve always loved Psychology and find it really interesting learning about why we think, feel and behave the way we do.
I’ve previously tutored GCSE Psychology students and really enjoy helping people understand things that might seem confusing at first. I’m friendly, patient and easy to talk to, and I want my lessons to feel relaxed and comfortable.
I know that Psychology can involve a lot of content, so I’m here to make things feel a bit more manageable and help you feel more confident. Whether you’re struggling with a specific topic, want some help with exam questions, or just need someone to explain things in a different way, I’d be happy to help!

I like to keep my lessons friendly, relaxed and tailored to each student. Everyone learns differently, so I’ll adapt the lesson depending on what you’re finding difficult and what you want to improve.
We might spend time breaking down a tricky topic, going through key studies and theories, practising exam questions, or working on essay structure and exam technique. I like using examples and working through questions together rather than simply talking through the content.
Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I’m happy to be flexible depending on what works best for you.
I’m currently studying Psychology at the University of Bath and have previous experience tutoring GCSE Psychology students. I’ve particularly enjoyed helping students build their confidence and understand topics that they initially found difficult.
My lessons are aimed mainly at GCSE Psychology students, and I’m happy to work with students of different abilities and adapt the pace to suit them.
