About Olivia
Hi, I’m Olivia—a Psychology undergraduate at the University of Manchester with a deep interest in how we think, learn, and grow. I’ve always been passionate about Psychology, and I know from experience how challenging A-Level content can feel without the right support. That’s why I want to teach. I enjoy helping others break down complex ideas and develop real understanding—not just for exams, but for lasting confidence in the subject. My approach to tutoring A-Level Psychology is focused, personalised, and encouraging. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to fit the individual’s needs—whether that means breaking down tricky concepts, reviewing case studies, or practising essay structure and exam technique. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and follow a structured yet flexible format: we’ll start by setting clear goals for the session, work through key content using discussion, visual aids, and active recall techniques, and finish with review questions or exam-style practice. I also provide summary notes and study tips to support independent revision between sessions. As a current Psychology undergraduate at the University of Manchester with A*AA A-Level results and real experience helping peers and younger students, I know how to explain complex topics in a way that makes them easier to understand and remember. These lessons are ideal for A-Level Psychology students who want to boost their confidence, improve their grades, or prepare for exams in a calm, supportive space.
