About Kathy
I am a Trainee Counselling Psychologist currently completing my doctorate at the Metanoia Institute, with an MSc in Psychology and a background in Childcare Studies. I have experience working as a counsellor and Assistant Psychologist across schools, the NHS and community settings, supporting young people and adults with a range of mental health and emotional needs.
I am passionate about helping students not only achieve academically, but also build confidence and feel supported in their learning. I bring a warm, non-judgemental approach and adapt my teaching to suit each individual, including those with additional needs.

As a trainee counselling psychologist, I combine academic guidance with an understanding of anxiety, confidence and learning needs, including SEN. My sessions are structured, engaging, and focused on building both knowledge and self-belief.
