About Tomás
The reason I am interested in helping you better understand the use of English is not any one singular factor.
I have spent many years travelling and enjoyed meeting people of the world and getting to fully experience other cultures.
I want to help you be in a position to feel comfortable and also as excited as I was when I got to meet people while on travels.
The more we all come together as a global community with the know how to communicate even in a base level, the closer we will become and differences may shrink as understanding is increased.

English
As with every spoken language across the globe, English is used in many different ways depending on the situation/ task or intent to which it is being applied.
My goal is to help you navigate the somewhat complex challenge this can be as a non native speaker to distinguish between the formal and informal settings.
In other words, I'll help make sure you have the ability to use English in an official capacity, such as applications for work or state services ect.. but also you'll have the know how to have an everyday chat with anyone off the street without sounding like a robotic or scripted individual.
Explanation of localised phrases from multiple English speaking countries, for example in Ireland, 'I will ya' which is usually a 'yes', actually means 'no'/ 'not going to happen' or in Australia, 'Crikey' / 'blimey' are
euphemisms used to communicate amazement or surprise.
