About Alexa
I am a junior in college with my degree focus being steered in psychology and biology. I have worked remotely and have built myself an established role as a team leader and efficient worker. Hello! As a current college student, I understand the struggle of writing an essay. For starters, we all struggle with procrastination and mind- flops that prevent us from starting early. This leads to higher stress, anxiety, and burn-out as the assignments build up. I am here to help organize time management, build a perfect schedule for projects/essays, help edit essays, guide you through the research patterns and techniques, and overall help encourage you to write and excel in school! My priority is ensuring that you are successful and feeling confident in your work.
I am efficient in planning fun ways to accomplish research goals, creating planners for time management, and tackling the heavy tasks that keep students procrastinating. I worked closely with teachers and TA's in my senior year of high school, and have since thrived with guiding students towards excellence. If there are complications with grammar, writing patterns, spelling, creativity, brain-flow, time management, procrastination, and researching, I am able to take steps forward to guide students to a happier and more accessible way of learning and writing.
A typical lesson with me would look like reviewing goals, outlining a structured plan, embedding our resources (research tools, planners, etc.), and discussing a writing flow. This can include using games, having a session where we do some reading and writing practices, or even just basic reviewing of the essay to ensure it is written properly

Alexa helped me figure out what I needed to do in order to write better essays. She was a student in my college class and we became friends through the stress of the class. She uses great communication and is super patient with all questions and issues. I recommend her if you need help with research, procrastination, time management, and building the perfect essay.
I believe Alexa is the best teacher anyone could possibly have, based on my experience with her alone. Alexa was my tutor in highschool. She taught me how to write essays, imrove my grammar, research skills, time management. She was dedicated that she even made me my own personalized lesson plan and planner, as well as a time mangement sheet. Alexa is a very involved and motivated instructor, anyway would be lucky to have her as their teacher.

Details
If we are meeting in person, I will provide a notebook, whiteboard, dictionary, and other basic materials that a student may need for learning. This may include pens, pencils, papers, highlighters, etc. I will not provide textbooks. Any extra materials that are needed will need to be discussed with a fair price agreed between me and the student/student's guardians.
I prefer to tutor online, however I am willing to drive to meet in a public setting for the extra price of $7. If the miles driven equal more than 20 miles, then the fee will add $2 per 5 miles. For example, if we meet at a public library that is 30 miles away from me, it would be 7$ base for travelling, PLUS an additional $4, which would bring the total to $11 for traveling. This is not included in the base rate for tutoring.
An example of a typical tutoring session online would be priced at $15 hourly. Traveling would add extra costs.
