About Aleksandra
I am passionate about making education more accessible. I am a psychology graduate currently enrolled in a master's programme on mental health. I understand how difficult it can sometimes be to engage with school and I want to support students on their journey. My interests revolve around travel, animals, books, music, playing the guitar, crochet and baking. I love playing board games and spending my time in creative ways.

I have experience teaching students with ADHD, ADD, PDA, OCD, and other learning difficulties. I am patient, understanding and I want to try to make learning a bit more fun and intuitive. My teaching is adjusted to the students' pace and needs. I use visual aids, glossaries, word banks, prompts and techniques such as PANDA to ensure the student feels supported and motivated. The typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes, though I can adjust according to needs. I worked as a teaching assistant at a SEN school for a year. Prior to that I volunteered as a tutor for maths and English and saw stellar progress and excellent feedback from my students. The lessons are targeted for Year 7-Year 11.
