About Emily
My name is Emily, I'm 22, and a recent Psychology graduate from the University of Exeter. I am predicted a 2:1, and I have performed well academically from secondary school up to my final university exams. I am passionate about well-being amongst young people, as I have worked as a peer mentor for younger students the last couple years of university. I would be thrilled to work one-to-one with students who need an extra confidence boost in some subjects as I know how intimidating and stressful exams can potentially be!

My lessons are relaxed, working in line with the student's pace and their preferences for how they envision the tutoring session to unfold. I actively listen to students' concerns, pinpointing their potential shortfalls in certain subject areas to bridge the gap and boosting their confidence, if only incrementally, by the end of the session. I have experience tutoring my peers and students from the year below from my time in college. I have also worked as a peer mentor throughout my time at university, offering my guidance and expertise based on my lived experiences as a student to help first and second year students. My lessons are targeted at any age group; as a university graduate, I can guide any level of learning pre higher education. My lessons vary from 20 minutes to 1 hour - it completely depends on the needs of the student!
