About Elodie

I’m a third-year physiotherapy student with A-levels in Psychology, Biology, and Physical Education (2023). I’m organised, hardworking, approachable, and empathetic. Having completed my A-levels recently, I understand the pressure students face and how overwhelming content can feel. Through my physiotherapy degree, I have studied psychology-based modules and research methods further, which gives me a strong psychology background.

Over time, I’ve built up a range of memory tools, including mnemonics and revision strategies that make learning more manageable. Whether it’s remembering key studies, definitions, or AO3 evaluation points, I enjoy finding creative ways to simplify and structure information so it actually sticks. Being closer in age helps me relate to students and explain things in a way that feels clear, logical, and genuinely helpful.

About the lesson

I teach Psychology A-level using a set of concise booklets with notes for each AQA topic, which I found especially useful during my own studies. They include exactly what you need to know for each spec point plus clear AO3 evaluation notes based on detailed mark scheme analysis. No waffle, no unnecessary detail, just the key content explained in a way that’s easy to understand and remember. I provide these electronically and can work through them with students if that suits their learning style.

My lessons are structured around each student’s preferred learning style. I break down complex topics like biopsychology and research methods into manageable segments and reinforce understanding through discussion, real-world examples, and active recall. I also incorporate essay plans, exam-style questions, and concise topic summaries to sharpen both knowledge and exam technique. I’m flexible and happy to adapt my approach to whatever works best for the student, ensuring they get the support and tools that match their goals.

Each session is focused and supportive and leaves students with practical tools they can use in their own revision. My goal is to help them feel more confident, more prepared, and more in control of their learning.
