About Sandipan

I have completed grade 8 Acoustic Guitars under London College of Music. And preparing for DipLCM. I have been teaching guitar since 2017.
I teach and provide examinations upto grade 8 of LCM
In my academic side I hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
I am based on Kolkata, West Bengal.

About the lesson

I teach Spanish Guitar with an overview of music theory from the basic to intermidiate levels using proper Staff notations and musical terminology as required for sitting in an Examination of International standards. I do not believe in playing hundred thousand of songs just by notations and memorizing them, but like to teach with more logical and technical approach e.g. by dissecting (musically of course) a song and decoding step by step how it is formed or what exactly is going on inside it. As a result, you become more free to create your own music or recreate your favorite songs, gradually. My primary goal is to teach how to improvise. Other than guitar playing my classes includes ear training, notation reading, music transcribing. I can provide a Gateway to Genres like Blues, Latin, Jazz, Rock. Providing Examination standards/grades under London College of Music.

Perfect! I don't believe in rating system for teacher. However to provide a review as I have to mention...he is an excellent teacher. he has in-depth knowledge and grip in guitar as well as music. He teaches in minute details..friendly way. he works a lot for his students.. and just fees can not compensate the amount of effort he puts on his students.. I have improved a lot by means of her teaching ...He is a real gem in the instrument. Thanks a lot
