About Sylvie
With 22 years of experience as a Singing tutor, I have helped numerous students strengthen their voices and achieve confidence in their performances. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who are eager to improve their singing skills and expand their musical knowledge.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and student-centred. I recognise that every learner has unique goals and learning preferences, so I adapt my methods to meet individual needs. This personalised approach helps students stay motivated and make meaningful progress.
My classes focus on breath control, vocal exercises, pitch accuracy, rhythm development, articulation, tone quality, vocal expression, and stage confidence. Through guided practice, practical demonstrations, and performance activities, students develop strong technical skills and artistic confidence.
In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, Song Interpretation, and Music Appreciation. These complementary subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music and improve their overall musicianship. I also emphasise healthy vocal habits and consistent practice.
I believe that learning music should be enjoyable and rewarding. My mission is to help students unlock their potential, achieve their goals, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.

My teaching approach is based on the belief that every student has a unique musical journey. I adapt my methods to accommodate different learning styles and personal goals, ensuring that each learner receives meaningful and effective instruction.
My lessons cover all essential areas of singing, including breath management, vocal flexibility, pitch accuracy, tone enhancement, and performance preparation. Creative activities and personalised exercises help students remain engaged and motivated.
To support comprehensive musical growth, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Studies, Vocal Health, Stage Presence, Sight Singing, and Performance Confidence. These subjects provide students with the knowledge needed to excel as singers and musicians.
I use diplomacy to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Through patience, constructive feedback, and continuous encouragement, I help learners reach their full potential.
