About Martina
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 6 years of teaching and professional music experience. I teach piano to school and college students and focus on helping students develop strong skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career was helping students progress from basic notes to performing confidently in front of an audience. These moments have reinforced my belief in patient, consistent, and supportive teaching.
My lessons emphasise posture, finger coordination, rhythm, music reading, and expression. I also introduce music theory in a simple way to help students understand what they play and improve independently.
I believe piano education fosters creativity, discipline, focus, and emotional intelligence. Music gives students a means of self-expression while building confidence and resilience.
My teaching style is patient, flexible, and student-centred. I adapt my lessons to the unique needs of each student and guide them towards their personal musical goals. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy piano and to help them achieve their highest potential.

I follow a student-centred, adaptive, and creatively-driven approach to teaching piano, focusing on technique, musical understanding, and expressive performance. I emphasise communication, ensuring students fully grasp techniques, theory, rhythm, and musical interpretation. Lessons are designed to suit each student’s learning style—visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic—making learning interactive, engaging, and highly effective.
I integrate real-life examples and case studies, such as analysing favourite songs, exploring classical works, and demonstrating music’s application in films, performances, and daily life, to make lessons practical and inspiring.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, composition, and performance skills, providing students with a complete musical education.
My methodology nurtures creativity, technical skill, performance confidence, and a lifelong love for music, enabling students to perform with poise, express themselves fully, and enjoy every stage of their piano learning journey.
