About Daisy
My journey in programming began with curiosity about creating solutions from logical building blocks. This interest led me to complete a B.Sc in Computer Science followed by an M.Sc in Software Engineering, equipping me with expertise in software development, algorithms, and problem-solving. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped learners build strong coding foundations, understand complex concepts, and develop independent thinking.
I focus on patient, personalized instruction. Many learners feel intimidated by programming due to abstract logic or prior negative experiences. I break down concepts into manageable steps, provide clear examples, and encourage active experimentation. Students are guided to not only learn syntax but also understand how to solve problems systematically and creatively.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with programming through projects, emerging technologies, and continuous learning. This allows me to offer lessons that are current, practical, and relevant. Teaching programming is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners grow from hesitation to confidence, mastering skills that empower them academically and professionally. Supporting students’ growth and independence in coding remains the most rewarding aspect of my work.

Programming lessons are designed to develop strong logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and confidence in coding. I guide learners through Python, Java, C++, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, debugging techniques, and project design. Lessons emphasize understanding principles rather than memorizing syntax, enabling students to adapt skills to new challenges and real-world applications. Each session is interactive, fostering curiosity, experimentation, and independent thinking.
Beginners start with programming fundamentals such as variables, loops, conditions, and simple functions. Intermediate learners progress to structured functions, modular code, debugging strategies, and algorithmic thinking. Advanced learners tackle data structures, recursion, software design patterns, optimization, and real-world project implementation. Exercises, guided coding examples, and stepwise explanations are integrated into every session to reinforce understanding and practical competence.
Programming lessons also cultivate analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and creativity.
