About Carl

My interest in programming began when I discovered how simple coding logic could create meaningful systems, useful applications, and creative digital solutions naturally and efficiently. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science followed by a PhD in Software Systems Engineering. During the past 11 years, I have guided students through programming learning using patient teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy transforming difficult coding concepts into manageable lessons that learners can understand comfortably and confidently. Watching students become more independent and creative with coding continues motivating me as an educator. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement instead of pressure-based learning. I believe students improve best when they feel supported and comfortable asking questions openly.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, university learners, and advanced students preparing for coding projects and technical careers. These experiences helped me understand the importance of flexibility when supporting different learning styles and technical goals. I encourage students to understand programming concepts deeply instead of memorizing coding patterns mechanically. My goal is to make programming lessons engaging, practical, and confidence-building.
