About Natalie
My interest in programming began when I first explored how computer software is created and how coding languages allow developers to communicate with machines. I was fascinated by the idea that simple instructions could be combined to build powerful programs and digital systems. This curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and later complete a Master’s in Computer Science.
Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students who are learning programming for academic purposes as well as professional development. Through teaching experience I learned that many beginners struggle because programming requires both logical reasoning and technical understanding. Because of this, I focus on teaching the reasoning behind each line of code so students understand how programs work.
My teaching approach encourages experimentation, practice, and careful problem solving. I guide learners through exercises that gradually increase in difficulty so they can build strong programming foundations and develop confidence in their coding abilities.

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand how computers follow instructions written in code. Instead of focusing only on programming syntax, I guide learners to understand the logical thinking behind software development. Students learn how algorithms are designed, how programs process information, and how coding can be used to solve real problems.
Lessons are organized according to the student’s level of experience and learning objectives. Beginners start with basic concepts such as variables, data types, conditional statements, and loops. Intermediate learners practice writing structured programs and learn how to use functions, arrays, and simple data structures. Advanced students explore algorithm design, debugging techniques, and project-based coding exercises that strengthen their practical programming skills.
Programming becomes exciting when learners realize they can create useful tools and applications through code. My goal is to help students develop strong logical thinking and confidence when writing programs. As their skills grow, learners begin to approach programming challenges with creativity and structured problem-solving methods.
