About Rowan
My interest in programming began with curiosity about how software systems are built and how they solve real-world problems. This led me to complete a Master’s in Software Development, where I developed strong knowledge of coding and system design. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students from different backgrounds and helped them build confidence in programming. Teaching has become a valuable part of my professional journey.
My teaching approach is simple, structured, and patient. I break complex topics into small, clear steps so students can understand easily. I use examples and guided practice to help students learn effectively. I also encourage students to ask questions and practice regularly so they can improve steadily and build confidence over time.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring new programming tools and technologies to stay updated. This helps me keep my lessons practical and relevant. I believe programming is not just about writing code but about developing a logical way of thinking. My goal is to help students become confident learners who can solve problems, build projects, and succeed in both academic and professional paths with clarity and confidence.

My programming lessons are designed to make coding simple, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with basic concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, and simple programs, explaining each topic in very simple English. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind programming instead of memorizing syntax. I use small examples and practical problems so students can clearly understand how coding works step by step. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, arrays, object oriented programming, and basic algorithms. I guide students step by step through writing, testing, and improving their code. Debugging is an important skill, so I teach students how to identify and fix errors with confidence. Practice exercises are included in every lesson to strengthen coding ability and understanding. Each lesson is designed to build strong logical thinking and steady progress over time.
Programming becomes easier when students learn how to think logically and solve problems step by step. I help learners develop confidence so they can create their own programs independently. Over time, students become more comfortable and creative with coding. My goal is to help students build strong programming foundations, improve technical skills, and apply coding knowledge effectively in academic and real world situations with clarity and confidence.
