About Tiva

My interest in programming began during my Master’s Degree in Computer Science, where I learned how software systems are designed and how logical thinking plays an important role in development. I was deeply interested in how simple code can create powerful solutions and solve real-world problems. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with many students, helping them build strong programming skills through clear explanation and consistent practice.

I believe that programming should be taught in a way that focuses on understanding and practical application. My teaching style includes step-by-step guidance, simple explanations, and real-world examples that make learning easier and more meaningful. I encourage students to ask questions and explore different approaches to solving problems. I also take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adjust my teaching approach so they feel comfortable and confident throughout their journey.

Outside of teaching, I continue working on programming projects and learning about new technologies and tools. This helps me bring updated knowledge into my lessons. Teaching programming is very rewarding for me because I enjoy helping students grow in confidence, develop strong logical thinking, and gain the ability to create their own solutions independently and effectively.

About the lesson

Programming becomes much easier when students understand how to think step by step instead of memorizing code without knowing its purpose. In my lessons, I focus on building strong logical thinking through clear and structured explanations. We begin with basic concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, and simple programs. I explain each topic using easy examples so students can understand how code works in a practical way. This helps them feel comfortable and builds confidence from the start.

As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, and basic algorithms. I guide them carefully so they understand how to apply these concepts in real coding situations. Each lesson includes hands-on practice, coding exercises, and debugging sessions. I also help students learn how to identify errors and fix them, which improves their confidence and independence over time.

Programming lessons also help students develop problem-solving skills, patience, and analytical thinking. They learn how to break down complex problems into smaller steps and find solutions in a structured way. Over time, students gain confidence and begin to enjoy creating their own programs. My goal is to help learners feel capable, confident, and motivated to explore programming further.
