About Pallavi
My interest in programming started when I discovered how small pieces of logic can create useful and meaningful applications. This curiosity led me to complete a Master’s in Computer Science, where I developed strong skills in coding and problem solving. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them understand programming in a clear and simple way. My experience has helped me guide learners with patience and adaptability based on their needs.
I believe that programming should be taught through understanding rather than memorisation. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into smaller steps and using practical examples to explain them clearly. I encourage students to ask questions and explore different solutions, which helps them build confidence and improve their skills. I also provide regular feedback and support to ensure steady progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy working on coding projects and learning new technologies to stay updated. This helps me bring fresh and relevant ideas into my lessons. Teaching programming is very rewarding to me because I get to see students grow from beginners to confident learners. Helping them develop strong skills and a positive mindset towards coding is something I truly value and enjoy every day.

Programming becomes easier when students understand how logic works step by step instead of trying to memorise code without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on teaching concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, functions, and basic data structures using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into smaller steps so students can follow comfortably without confusion. I also use practical examples and small exercises to show how code works in real situations. Each session is calm and supportive, allowing students to ask questions freely and build confidence gradually while learning.
As students progress, lessons become more focused on building programmes and solving real problems. Beginners start with basic syntax and simple coding exercises. Intermediate learners work on functions, debugging, and structured programmes. Advanced learners focus on larger projects, problem solving, and preparation for exams or interviews. I provide regular practice, revision, and feedback so students can improve steadily. This structured approach helps students gain clarity and confidence in programming.
Programming also helps students develop logical thinking, patience, and problem-solving ability. As they improve, they begin to approach challenges step by step and think more clearly. They learn how to design solutions and understand how systems work. My goal is to make programming simple, practical, and engaging so students feel confident in learning and applying coding skills in real situations.
