About Michael

The increased reliability of technology has made teaching academic subject such as ballet history and career mentoring relatively easy. However, after years of hands on teaching in the studio, the recent pandemic has allowed me to develop on-line techniques that allows me to successfully teach dance technique classes remotely. I look forward to working with students wherever they may be located through these new enhanced methods .

About the lesson

With 40 + years experience as professional dancer, award winning choreographer, artistic director and high school and college professor I am available for teaching and coaching of ballet, pointe, male technique, and character dancer as well as academic courses in dance and ballet history and choreography. Mentoring and career/life coaching for pre professional dancers is a specialty. In addition to my extensive professional experience, I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees from the top colligate dance programs in the US with advanced teachers training from the Royal Academy of Dance in London. Classes structured for individuals from 12 years of age through adult. As an experienced, caring educator I strive to create a positive learning environment that in addition to improving their technical skills builds confidence and discipline that prepares students to succeed not only in dance but also in life.
