  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Primarily I teach Java, Angular & DSA. I was first introduced to Java when I joined my first organization Infosys. Before that, I was completely unaware of Java as I did my B.Tech in mechanical. During my training, we were taught Java for the entire day from morning 9 to evening 5 followed by complex assignments. Although I don't expect my students at Superprof to spend the entire day studying. My experiences during my training taught me the importance of practice. I like Java and Angular because I work as a full-stack developer and the concepts of packages and modules make it very easy to handle large projects. Also, Java being a very old language (30yrs+) it is now very mature and all the major caveats are mostly addressed. Apart from that, I like to code a lot in my free time and I personally feel that without being good at Data Structures one can never be a good software developer.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My motivation behind being here is my own interest in teaching. I think if I can help students understand programming at the time of their actual learning, they can really pay attention to the details and strengthen the pillars. Also, it helps me stay and touch with the concepts and also helps me improve.
  • How does your work help society?

India is a country with great talent. But sadly, the students aren't getting the right guidance, certainly not at the time when they need it the most. I There are jobs available in the market but the applicants lack the skill set. When I teach my students I always try to give them the big picture and motivate them to give their best.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

I dedicate my enthusiasm and interest to Ravindra Babu Ravula sir who is the best teacher when it comes to foundational subjects in Computer Science.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

I like to swim and I am always ready to play Lawn Tennis. I just love the sound of the racket hitting the ball and my spins. Apart from that, I love to play counterstrike and data. I am also an occasional cook. I have travelled to various places in India excluding eastern India and that is exactly where I am planning to go next. Switzerland and Denmark are also on my bucket list.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

I have always loved computers but because of my greed to score more marks and thanks to the education system here which focuses more on theory, I never took any computer-related subjects. I was introduced to the world of programming through a non-technical interview which I didn't even plan to crack that morning. But here I am with 4 years of work experience as a Software Developer and doing my part to encourage others as well to join this journey with the hope that I will be able to show them the path and help them excel.
