About Eliot
I have been tutoring students in English and writing for over five years, including working at my university's writing center and publishing a video-based writing course. I love what I do and I hope to help all my students feel more confident in their knowledge of English and writing.

My specialty is helping college students write essays, and I can work with you no matter where you are in the essay-writing process.
I will talk through essay organization and format as well as citations, repeated grammar errors, and outlining.
Come to a tutoring session with an assignment sheet or a draft (even an incomplete draft!) of an essay or other written assignment, and I'll go through it with you at any pace you need. This process helps give direction to your current assignment as well as future assignments, because you'll know what to do!
I tutored students at the writing center at my university, often Comp I and II students, and I can work with you on writing assignments for other classes as well!
