About Ozzy

My name is Ozzy, I am a professional working guitarist of 10 years and have been teaching for 7 years. I received my BA in Jazz Studies from Middlesex University and I decided to move to New York City to do my Masters. I graduated with my Masters in Music in 2021, I spent another year in NYC performing and teaching, I moved back to London in July 2022. My goal as a teacher is to give you the knowledge, techniques and tools I have learnt over the decade to help you progress quickly so you can achieve the musical goals you want and start playing your favourite songs.

About the lesson

I provide lessons to all ages and all levels. There will be an emphasis on your goals as a guitarist and making sure we work towards achieving them! Lesson lengths range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. In these lessons my main goal is to get you playing as soon as possible. The more playing we do, the quicker you get comfortable on the guitar, the faster you improve! The key fundamentals I like to focus on are learning chords and timing. You can expect to work on these in a variety of different musical contexts. Using these fundamentals as building blocks to advance your guitar playing and your ability to confidently perform your favourite songs. I have been teaching since 2017 in a variety of settings: - Private 1-on-1 - group classes - at schools through the Hackney Music Service

Daniel showed great persistence during our lesson. He asked a lot of questions, which is always a good sign and a great indicator that he is willing to learn. He is very detail oriented and was able to pick up the material we worked on in our first lesson very quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed our lesson together.
